Transforming lives
We envision a world where every person, regardless of their circumstances, has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and lead a healthy, fulfilling life through continuous support and empowerment.
At Saath Saath Foundation, we aim to uplift marginalized communities, particularly the tribal populations, by providing comprehensive education, healthcare, and sustainable development opportunities. We are committed to fostering unity, celebrating diversity, and ensuring inclusive growth for all.
At Saath Saath Foundation, we believe in leveraging the power of those who possess knowledge, skills, resources, and wisdom to uplift those aspiring for more. We are driven by the conviction that altruism is inherent in all of us, inspiring us to share our knowledge and help others.
We collaborate with Zilla Parishad schools and the Ashram Shala school, managed by the Adivasi Board. Our efforts include appointing support teachers, providing computers, and conducting educational sessions. Although significant progress has been made, there is still much to accomplish.
We are dedicated to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities within the community. We teach sewing to women in remote locations who need opportunities to sell their products at exhibitions and other venues to help them achieve financial independence.
At Saath Saath Foundation, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in some of the most remote and underserved areas around Mumbai and Thane, particularly in the Adivasi regions of Dhamni, Chaudharwadi, Mograz, and Pinglas in Karjat. These locations are 25 kilometers deep within the interiors, with minimal public transport and limited access to basic amenities like tap water.

We collaborate with Zilla Parishad and Ashram Shala schools to provide educational resources and support. In Ambivali, we are creating livelihood opportunities by training young girls in stitching. A dedicated trainer imparts stitching skills, and a partnership with a Bangalore fashion house supplies excess cloth. We've secured four sewing machines—two for the community and two for Ashram Shala school—enabling skill training programs for young girls.

We support pregnant and lactating mothers, as well as malnourished children, ensuring they receive the necessary care and nutrition.
A significant number of residents lack Aadhar cards, depriving them of government benefits. Regular employment among men is rare, leaving women to manage household chores and childcare, often under severe conditions. The average weight of these women is alarmingly low, between 30 to 35 kg. Many children are malnourished and underweight, and as first-generation schoolgoers, they rely heavily on the midday meal provided at school.
The schools in these areas face severe resource constraints. For instance, the local school has a laboratory but lacks any scientific equipment, leaving 12th-grade science students without practical learning opportunities.
Despite the plethora of needs and endless challenges, we remain committed to making a difference. Unlike other NGOs that visit occasionally, Saath Saath Foundation is stationed in Karjat 24/7, providing continuous support and making tangible improvements in the community.
Join us in our mission to create a brighter future for the Adivasi villages of Karjat.

Vocational tailoring and sewing programmes are regularly conducted for girls and women across tribal villages to promote skill development, self-reliance, and livelihood opportunities.

With 20 years of corporate experience, Usha Donolikar transitioned to the social sector six years ago and has since made significant contributions. In coordination with the local Public Health Center, we aim to combat malnutrition, particularly among expectant and lactating mothers. Many residents of Mograz belong to the Adivasi Agiwlay and Koli communities, with Kolis being particularly marginalized.

At Saath Saath Foundation, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. We are deeply grateful to the following individuals who have supported us in various ways, contributing to our mission and helping us grow. Saath Saath Foundation would not be possible without the dedication of our incredible team of supporters. We are proud to recognize the contributions of these individuals who share our passion for empowering marginalized communities. Thank you for your invaluable assistance and dedication.

“Working with Saath Saath Foundation gives me happiness and motivation. Connecting people of different skill sets with the foundation and their efforts in each session is really appreciable. I enjoy attending the sessions with children and seeing their enthusiasm and open learning. It boosts me up to reach more volunteers.”

"Working with Saath Saath Foundation, I have realized the world is full of wonderful people who can always put a smile on my face, be it the founders or the children I interact with. It gives me immense joy, and the kids really make my day always."

"I have been a volunteer with SSF since last year. The service SSF does for the underprivileged and needy through NGOs is admirable. It gives me immense joy and satisfaction to contribute my mite to uplifting someone without expecting anything in return. I cannot describe the happiness I see in the eyes of the children in the classroom."

At Saath Saath Foundation, our founders' compassion extends beyond human welfare to include a deep love for animals. They have adopted a stray cat and her four kittens (though sadly, two disappeared at a young age), and taken in two abandoned dogs who are now cherished members of the village community. Additionally, three rescued kittens have found loving homes with relatives in Mumbai. Our founders feed and care for 15 dogs at various times in the village. They have also organized the spaying of three cats and two dogs, ensuring healthier and more controlled animal populations. Their dedication includes nursing a dog back to health after she was poisoned and attacked by a drunkard with a knife, showcasing their unwavering commitment to animal welfare.
